Detailed description: Coconut fiber netting for slope and bank stabilization

Versatile and durable, the Plantcobio Coconut Net® from Plantco is available in 3 different weights to meet the various needs of banks and slopes with gradients of less than 35°. It effectively stabilises slopes and embankments by preventing natural erosion while providing an anchoring support for plant roots. Installing a coconut net helps consolidate the project, reduces rill formation, and ensures better control of water runoff.
These mats, made from 100% natural coconut fiber, are woven to provide high tear resistance. All three variants have excellent water retention, maintaining soil moisture and supporting healthy plant growth. They offer strong root protection and slope reinforcement.
The Plantcobio Coconut Net® requires no ground preparation is required, as the coconut mat naturally adapts to surface irregularities. Start by placing the net on the flat top of the bank or slope to minimize erosion, then unroll it down the slope (less than 35°). For faster vegetation establishment, the coconut net can be used together with hydroseeding.
