Versatile and effective, Plantco France’s coir netting is available in 3 different weights to meet the diverse needs of slopes and embankments with an incline of less than 35°. It efficiently stabilizes slopes by preventing natural erosion and serving as an anchoring point for vegetation root systems. Installing coir netting reinforces the project over time and provides better erosion control by limiting the formation of rills.
Made from 100% natural coir fiber, these mats are woven to offer high tear resistance. Our 3 product references also have excellent water retention capacity, ensuring soil moisture is preserved—benefiting both the ground and your plantations. They provide outstanding support and root protection.
No soil preparation is needed, as the netting naturally adapts to ground irregularities. This coir geotextile is installed directly on the slope, starting from the flat surface above the bank or embankment. By anchoring it on the flat section, you reduce erosion at the top of your installation. Then simply unroll the coir netting down the slope (less than 35°).
For faster vegetation growth, the installation of coir netting can be combined with hydroseeding.
Our 3 product references are supplied in rolls, each 2 meters wide by 50 linear meters.
